Angela’s Bridal Portraits…

Wow, where has the time gone?   I’ve been so busy lately that I am EXTREMELY behind with posting my latest sessions.  Things are settling down a bit now,  and I am so excited about catching up and showing you some of my favorite sessions yet!

I’ll begin with Angela’s bridal session…photographed just outside of Chattanooga.  Angela is a sister-in-law to Anna, whose bridal portraits and wedding I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing this summer.   This session was a little different, though, because we actually shot  Angela’s bridal session after her and Scott Paul’s wedding day.   You see, they already had their beautiful ceremony at Scott Paul’s parents lake house…but it was an outdoor ceremony and the weather just didn’t quite cooperate that day.  The weather held off just enough to get some gorgeous photographs of Angela and Scott Paul together, but hardly any of the beautiful bride by herself.  So, I met them one morning in September at the lake house and had the best time photographing this gorgeous bride.  Thanks so much Manley family…I love photographing you all!!!

The Stafford Family…Growing

This family is the perfect picture of why I enjoy being a photographer so much.  Seeing the love that couples have for each other and, then, the unconditional love that they have for their children is something that I love to document.  It just warms my heart.  I’m so blessed to have photographed so many milestones for this wonderful family- their engagement, their wedding, the anticipation of their first child,  their precious daughter Adalynn, and, lastly,  the anticipation of their first son, Brooks.  Jasmine and Bryan…thank you so much for trusting me with your memories!  Baby Brooks has arrived since this session, and I can’t wait to meet him!

Beautiful Mother…isn’t she glowing!

Can’t you just feel the love in these…

The Wilson Family

Let me begin this post by saying without hesitation….This post is LONG OVERDUE, and I am so thankful to have the greatest clients in the world to work with who are so understanding about how crazy the last couple of months have been for me!  I am beginning to feel much better now, and I am so excited about sharing these photos with those who have waited so patiently and I am looking forward to the sessions I have coming up.

On to the photographs!  A couple of months ago, I had a family session at Rock Island with the Wilson family- Greg, Chasity, Kaitlyn, and Alyson.  I’ve known this family for a while but I got to know them even better last year when I was fortunate enough to be Kaitlyn’s teacher.  I just love Kaitlyn…she has a great personality…she  is a fantastic student and SUPER intelligent.  During this session, I got to know Kaitlyn’s little sister, Alyson, a little better too and this is what I saw- P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.Y!!!  Like sunshine, her smile was beaming the whole time.    Greg and Chasity- thank you so much for letting me photograph your fantastic family…and for being so patient! Enjoy a couple of my favorites.

A little FUN in their Sweet T shirts…

These girls made me happy:)

Anna and Matt…Wedding

In August, I was blessed to photograph Anna and Matt’s wedding in Chattanooga.  The event was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end…from the beautifully simplistic flowers all the way down to the rockin’ reception at the Stone Fort Inn.  Anna’s family was introduced to my work  through Andrew and Rebecca and Andrew’s family, and I truly appreciate their recommendation.  As I said when I posted Anna’s bridals, she is a beautiful person, inside and out.  When I finally met Matt the day of the wedding, I could see that he and Anna fit together perfectly.  Matt was such a gentleman that day, and so handsome.  Everyone seemed magically calm, and I don’t think  Anna and Matt could  have had a more perfect day.  Here are a few photographs of Anna and Matt, and I’ll be posting a few more of the details and the fun reception soon!  Congratulations Anna and Matt, and thank you for just being the wonderful people that you are!

Sweet Alexis

Meet Alexis…the sweetest little six-year-old girl that I know.  Alexis is my aunt and uncle, Susan and Terry’s, granddaughter.  When we went to the beach this summer and stayed in their beautiful condominium, Alexis traveled with us so she could visit her Granny and Pa.  She was as perfect as perfect could be the whole trip down to Florida…her and Thomas talked the entire trip and played and magna-doodled like crazy!  And, of course, Granny Shirley didn’t want them to get hungry or bored, so she fixed them both a special treat bag stocked with necessities like M & M’s and Capri Suns.  The day before we left, I was so excited to photograph Alexis on the beach, because I know it’s a special place for her.  You will see in these photographs how beautiful this little girl is, but I’m also amazed by her sweet nature and her intelligence…she’s simply a joy to be around.  Thank you Suz and I hope you enjoy a couple of my favorites…
